Poké pronounced (po-kay or โป-เกะ ) is a Haiwaiian staple, which consists of cubed and seasoned raw seafood, often served together with a variety of vegetables atop warm rice. The seasoning and ingredients used in the making of Poké itself is heavily influenced by Japanese and other Asian cuisines. At Ohana Poké we prepare our Poké with our signature sauces and fresh seafood everyday before serving generous amounts of Salmon and Tuna Poké accompanied with a wide variety of vegetable, toppings and superfood in our Poké Bowls.
“Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.” Ohana Poké is a business with social responsibility at our core. We treat each member of our extended community from our guests, staff to suppliers as a member of our family. Check out BE Ohana to learn more.
We feed our guests with wholesome, healthy and delicious food that we are proud of, with only the freshest ingredients that are free artificial ingredients and addictives. Ohana Poké believes firmly in the motto ‘Eat well, Live Well’, where we only serve food that we would treat our families to.
We employ marginalized members of the society on fair terms. We provide a dignified working environment, where they are trained and equipped with life and social skills empowering them to improve their lives and in return, the lives of their families.
We work with our suppliers to ensure that the ingredients we use are sustainable and traceable, and are sourced as locally as possible. By doing so, we are able to keep the proceeds within the local community, ensure that our suppliers are paid a fair compensation for their produce and that the ingredients are as fresh as possible. Seasonal small batch ingredients will also be sourced directly with our suppliers. Ensuring a fair-trade relationship with our local suppliers.
